As a Boston native and Dorchester resident, Nicole is a mom and she is the first in four generations to successfully complete her degree of Arts in Human Services. Graduating with highest honors from Urban College of Boston.
Soon, Nicole identified the need for unity, lack of awareness and resources within her culture and community. Recognizing her consistency of leadership, community liasion, and building healthy networking relationships; Nicole was nominated over the Summer of 2018 with an outstanding leadership award.
With constant engagement of networking, and opportunities she soon unraveled what is now called The Brown Table Podcast . Not only is she the host of her own show, she is locally known as an “unapologetic” open mic artist. Sharing her relatable stories of triumphs, reality and resiliency, Nicole is known on platforms as “Shes_ARebel”. Not just any rebel, but a rebel with a cause. With this, she has incorporated a profound way of her artistry and Human Service into podcasting. She believes that podcasting is like music; worldwide.
She invites people from all walks of life, and areas of expertise to share their stories through open dialogue. By creating such a platform, her hope is to utilize one another as a resource, share tools for growth and healing to add on to one anothers quality of living.
She believed she could; so she did.
